At Metal Merize, we stand firmly behind the craftsmanship of every piece that leaves our forge. We guarantee our products for the lifetime of the original purchaser against manufacturing defects.

If you need to initiate a return or exchange, please review our strict artisan policies below.

🛡️ Our Lifetime Warranty

If your item possesses a genuine manufacturing defect, we will replace it at no additional charge.

  • What is covered: Structural failures, forging defects, and hardware malfunctions.

  • What is not covered: Normal wear and tear, intentional misuse, neglect, natural patina development on copper/brass, or items lost/stolen after delivery.

📦 Standard Return Policy

Any standard item purchased on MetalMerize.com (excluding Gift Cards and custom items) may be returned up to 30 days from the date of purchase.

To be eligible for a return:

  1. The item must be in the same condition that you received it.

  2. It must be in its original, undamaged box with all original packaging materials included.

Important Return Stipulations:

  • No Buyer's Remorse: Due to the artisanal nature of our work, we do not offer refunds or exchanges for a simple change of mind.

  • No Sizing Errors: We do not offer refunds or exchanges due to sizing issues. It is the customer's sole responsibility to consult our detailed Sizing Guides located on every product page prior to ordering.

  • Shipping Fees: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

📊 Restocking Fees

Because every item is precision-engineered and securely packaged, returned items are subject to strict inspection and restocking fees. These fees will be deducted from your total refund amount.

🛑 Non-Returnable Items (Final Sale)

Certain items from the forge cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • Custom & Personalized Goods: Any item with custom engraving or bespoke specifications is strictly Final Sale. Full payment is required upfront for these pieces.

  • Sale & Clearance Items: All discounted items are Non-Refundable.

  • Natural Material Variances: Our pieces utilize materials like Damascus steel, solid copper, and exotic wood inlays. These materials react naturally to temperature, moisture, and oils from your skin (especially copper, which develops a natural patina). Variances in wood grain or metal folds are marks of authenticity, not defects, and are not grounds for a return.

To provide the fastest service and ensure accurate inventory, we process exchanges as a standard return.

If you need a different item, simply return your original item (subject to the policies and restocking fees above) and place a separate, new order for the correct item on our website.

🚚 Logistics & Responsibilities

  • Return Shipping Costs: You are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for high-value metalwork.

  • Lost or Stolen Packages: Metal Merize is not responsible for lost or stolen packages confirmed as 'Delivered' by the carrier to the address entered on the order. Please monitor your tracking number closely.

  • Shipping Delays: External logistics factors can sometimes cause delays. By ordering, you agree to our posted processing and transit times.

Because our fulfillment process begins almost immediately, we do not accept order cancellations once a purchase has been finalized. If you encounter a critical error immediately after ordering, please contact us right away and we will do our best to assist you before the item ships.
